Literature

This body of work presents an intricately woven floor cushion detailing all the produce and nature rooted in the Levant. Jaffa oranges envelop the outside of the cushion, followed by entangled vine leaves with olive branches circling the middle with a Cedar tree standing proudly in its core. The floor cushion is stuffed with Zaatar, a levantine spice mix rooted in thyme, which not only emanates a distinctly recognisable scent attributed to the region, but also creates a malleably grounding weight to the piece
