ART DUBAI 2013, ARTSPACE’s will be a fresh and light take on art history and certain traditions. We will be working closely with our artists to consciously explore notions of art history dating back as early on, as well as combining certain traditional elements that would be integrated into the works. These traditional elements can be either the artists own traditions or influences of others and produced in a contemporary manner. Samira Alikhanzadeh, Mohammed Taman, Monif Ajaj, Zakaria Ramhani, Shadi Alzaqzouq and Ozan will all be exploring these themes and developing it in their works. There will also be a special emphasis on using materials in the works, taking on a 3dimentional aspect.
